I am stumped! I am trying to connect to the server in the house that i live in in order to watch films and listen to music that my housemates have loaded onto it. They are all able to connect and view any files on the sever with no problems (these include 2 mac users) and my powerbook G4 can't.
When I go to connect to the sever in the network tab, it says the original item cannot be found and gives me the option of fixing the alias, which then asks me to choose the item that I want the alias in question to open.
I have tried to solve the problem with network diagnostics and it says that I am connected to the server fine, and I have had no problems going on the web using the cable connection running from the server
Do you need an application to view files on a sever or am I just trying to access it in the wrong way?
I am using OS X 10.4.11 on a 867 MHz powerPC G4. Maybe I just need an update?
Please help!!!!!!!!1
