SOLVED Shift key intermittent fails

Left Shift key often does not work to give an uppercase letter. Often have to press 3-4 times then press very hard to work. very frustrating when typing/. this is intermittent, works sometimes, sometimes does not.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.4

Hello,

There could be a few reasons:
-Possible liquid spill
-Foreign material under the key
-It could be related to the known issues with the new Apple key mechanisms: Keyboard Service Program for MacBook and MacBook Pro

NOTE: The new ley caps can easily be damaged by trying to remove them to clean under tham. Canned air only around the key to see if you can dislodge any foreign material.

Technician called this morning and fitted a new top half which has Keyboard, track pad, batteries plus some other bits
All dun and dusted
