(Photoshop is worth every penny though....)

I actually prefer GraphicConverter over GIMP. I personally don't like using X11.

I've been playing with the three Freeware programs (thanks Cory!) to do simple retouching, cropping, and resizing of photos. Image Tricks has some really cool masks that I plan to use for party invitations in the future. LiveQuartz has a nifty duplication tool that I've used the most. ImageWell has a shapes feature that I will also use for something, sometime...

But LiveQuartz seem to be the easiest to use and the one I keep reaching for!

It reminds me of some old Sun Sparc's I used to have (running xwindows+solaris)...plus I use Ethereal a lot, seeing as EtherPeak is no more !
