Intel Core i7 4770HQ vs Intel Core i5 6267U

Hi everyone, I'm new to the community.

I'm willing to purchase a Macbook Pro. I have sorted out two options below considering the budget,

Option 1:

Macbook Pro 2015 - 15 inch

2.2GHz Quad Core Core i7(4770HQ) Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz

16GB 1600MHz memory

Iris Pro Graphics 5200

Option 2:

Macbook Pro 2016 TouchBar- 13 inch

2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor(6267U) Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz

16GB 2133MHz memory

Iris 550 Graphics

Made my decision to go for Option 1 but almost for the same price range I see thatOption 2 also available. However I don't like to go for a smaller 13-inch screen.

Considering I will be using this machine for at least 4 years from now I just want to know whether by preferring the Option 1 am I going for an old machine as the hardware is from 2013. My work involves video editing, After effects, Photoshop, Heavy Web Browsing and I don't do much gaming if that matters.

You should be fine. As it is, I have seen reports of some issues with that 2016 model. Additionally, connectivity of external devices is MUCH, MUCH easier with the 2015 model.
