Scrolling the Messenger is tedious

How do you scroll to the start of a conversation Messages
??
It is very long and tedious to keep scrolling back several years

To quickly navigate to the beginning of a Facebook Messenger conversation, tap the very top of your phone screen, near the signal or Wi-Fi indicator, as this will scroll you to the top. While Messenger may not load the entire conversation at once, repeated tapping will progressively reveal more of the older messages.
