SOLVED Screen shots don’t

Hello again, I have an iPad model MP2H2LL/A with os 13.4 that has forgotten how to take screen shots. I have taken screen shots before with this iPad. It doesn’t have faceid and I had been using power and home buttons. Now Siri says how can I help and holding the buttons powers the machine down. I am trying to take a shot of a birth announcement from 1877 on a European genealogy site. What to do?

Hello,

That is an iPad (5th Generation) (Wi-Fi), correct?

You could try powering it off totally, then power it on. You could also try these - specifically the force restart:

Let us know if that restores the screenshot key combination.

Force Did not alter the situation. Noticed also, power button is crouched low in its nest. Was almost painful to wait for the Apple to show up.

Yes. Also, the iPad is in a cover/stand if I take it out button is where it should be. Hm seems iPad forgot capitalization rules for sentence starts.
