I recently hooked up a LCD tv to my computer for the monitor. I am home for the summer so figured why not use my tv and have a bigger screen. My problem is now when I use safari or firefox all the webpages are too big so I have a horizontal scroll bar. Is there a way to fix this so the default will show it in one frame. I am using a 15" macbook pro.

You maybe able to adjust it in System Pref/Displays

Your TV and computer are different aspect ratios...and personally I wouldn't use mirroring, if you are trying to work on both computer and screen because the one image will be distorted.

Go to displays when plugged in and try out some different resolutions to find which is best. try dual screen so you can run the TV at 1920x1080 and the computer at 1440x900 or what-ever.

16:9 TV Resolutions:
1920x1080 (1080p)
1366x768 (standard TV resolution for advertised 720p TVs)
1280x720 (720p)
