Retina Macbook Pro 15' Speaker Pop

Every time my speakers try and play a noise, they pop before the sound starts, then pop again when the sound ends. Its a single pop every time, no more or less, but it's still really bothering. I haven't dropped my computer or anything like that, and it just started recently. I've tried changing a bunch of audio settings, as well as updating and restarting my computer but the problem still persists. Any thoughts on how to fix it?
