Hey guys!
Very new to Automator so please let me know if I do/say anything out of line or stupid.
At work, we are tethering photos as they are taken, which means I have someone sitting at a computer renaming each photo depending on the barcode of the product being shot.
I want to be able to scan a barcode, and have the next 5 photos be automatically renamed as this barcode.
Then when the next product is ready to be shot, simply scanning that barcode, and having the photos be renamed as such.
Is this at all possible, either with Automator?
Thanks guys, there are ways to even FURTHER increase the productivity here but I just want to know if the basics are possible.
