Help with file renaming via Automator

Hi,

I got the following automator folder work flow from another forum. i want to rename files within a folder using the folder name and the date created of the file. This works well if I run it manually however i want it to work on any new files that i drop into the folders automatically. I've attached it to the folder as a folder action but it still doesn't action itself. I really don't know much about scripting or automator so please keep it basic o_O
FOLDER RENAME.jpg

Hello and welcome.

I am not very experienced in AppleScript/Automator and Folder Actions either. Maybe the folks over at MacScripter can help out.
