reload/pw hack ?

Hello All mighty MacHeads,
My CEO just dropped a nice shiney powerbook G4 on my desk that he had aquired from his last company. However he doesn't have or can't remember the admin password. I have been tasked with reloading or breaking the pw.. neither of which i have had any success at.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,

just stick in the Mac OS Install Disk in, reboot holding down the c key and when it boots go to the "Password Reset" menu...

...it's not really.

You need physical access to the Mac to do this. There are ways of turning this of if security is an issue.

In most Schools the admins alter the settings so that the above solution wouldn't work without you typing in a Firmware password...then the Install DVD would not boot the Mac and therefore the Password Reset Tool wouldn't work...
