Experienced PC user, but less familiar with Macs.
Power Mac G4 Digital Audio Model M5183, OS X. Unit was operating fine, then, suddenly, is completely dead. No power at startup. Power cord is definately okay.
Is a good backup battery (1/2AA 3v), needed for a power start? Is there a separate fuse anywhere in the unit, i.e. within the Power Supply (API 9841)?
Suggestions welcome.
