Hi,
As the title states, I'm wondering if there's a way to make iMovie 2013 (version 10.1) run in a way that is less demanding for the Mac. The reason I'm asking is because it's being run on an iMac from early 2008, with a graphics card that is not OpenCL Capable (ATI Radeon HD2400 XT 128Mb. I know it's old and outdated, and I will be purchasing a new iMac in a couple of months). I believe that for that reason, the screen frequently flickers in black pixels when the app is being run, forcing a restart in order to get it back to normal. During this process, however, the Mac is not frozen. What I'm looking for - based on my very limited experience - is for example if you can disable some form of hardware acceleration that would perhaps mask the issue, even if it would limit the potential of iMovie ever so slightly.
