I'm getting the beachball/rainbow spinning wheel when I open contactson my MacBookPro. It isn't happening with any other applications. The last thing I know that I did was accidentally hit merge contacts and it's been spinning since then.
Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks, Lauren

What Mac OS are you using? Also, are you making backups to an external device? And, have you ever done any disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs?
