OSX 10.2 jaguar

Hey all,

My buddy has asked me to fix his power mac g4, I've tried every fix... I need the boot disks which he can't find ( he proudly found the install manual.... thanks mate!) Does anyone know where I can d/l a .dmg copy of these disks. I can only find .sit copies, which I cannot get to work on windows with transmac. Thanks.....

Hello and welcome.

There isn't an official and legal way to download Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar any longer. Sometimes the Apple Store can help, but I doubt it at this point. You may be able to find the disc on eBay or from a reseller. Preferably a retail copy, as the gray discs are machine-specific. Or, maybe a local Mac user group would be able to help, if you have one in your area.
