Optical Drive not Working on Mac Mini

Mac Mini Optical Drive suddenly stopped reading CDs. Was uploading music collection and all going fine, then started rejecting CDs. Will accept the CD into the drive, tries to read it for about 10-15 seconds and then ejects. Have tried several CDs and also a blank brand new DVD. All same result. Also did the shut down, power disconnect thing. :(

Sounds like Hardware.

Take it to your locale Apple Service Centre, if its less than 3 yrs old and has extended AppleCare it would probably be replaced for no charge.
