Open core to update unsupported.

I dumoenloaded open core to update my late model MacBook Pro and somehow now it only runs if the external hardrive is connected. How do I fix this?

Is it booting from the internal drive when the external is connected, or is it booting from the external?

Also, which MacBook Pro do you have? What version of macOS is installed on your internal drive?
