I am new to Mac. My desktop is running OS Ventura 13.6.1
I get sent a lot of PDF over emails. I use Microsoft Outlook. I can open the document from the email just fine. Then I proceed to save it to either my Dropbox of my computer. Then when I go to open the file, it requires a password! I did not set up any password. It has been happening randomly about 50% of the time for the last few months. I sometimes I can open them no problem, other times this password requirement pops up. I have no idea why it seems so inconsistent. Is there anyone with ideas how I can trouble shoot this? I don't even know where to start
