HELP!!! I have looked EVERYWHERE for a solution to this, but no one seems to be able to help me and I'm getting mighty frustrated now.

First, the background: I had my iMac restored and upgraded to 10.6 at the Genius Bar a couple of weeks ago. Since then I've had to reinstall a number of applications, programs, etc. I have a number of fonts that I've downloaded from various sources over the years, but I lost them all. Now I'm trying to rebuild my library, but every time I try to install a downloaded font, I get only a text edit window filled with gobbledegook (see attached image).

How the heck do I fix this?!?!?!?!

Right Click on the Font File and select Get Info...,
Under the Open With: section select Font Book
Now very important! Click Change All...

Ah-ha! It would appear that my Font Book has been sent into the ether. This explains it. Now. How do I reinstall Font Book?

If Font Book is missing there is something wrong with the update... I'd go back to who did the update and get it do properly.
