all other apps of system preferences work fine. it's just the expose and spaces that wont work.

ive tried deleting the 'com.apple.systempreferences.plist' and rebooting my computer but the same error keeps popping up.

can anyone help with this? thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome. Sorry we didn't get back to you sooner.

I see you deleted one of the plist files. There are a couple more for you to try deleting from your User folder:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist (the one you deleted)
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.systempreferences.xxxxxxxxxxxx.plist (the xxxxxxxxxxxx will be your Mac's Ethernet MAC address)
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.systempreferences (the whole folder)

Try deleting all of these and restarting. If the issue isn't resolved, try creating a test user and see if it happens when logged into it. If it does, then it's a system-wide issue and will probably require a reinstall.
