Hi,
I have a 13 inch MacBook with Retina and High Sierra.
I have made several attempts to upgrade to Mojave but ,each time it gets to about 12 minutes to go, it says that it can't find the installer.
Can you help (a non-techie) to sort this issue?

Will need some more information:

1. Have you ever done any disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs? You actually can do a good amount of disk cleanup on your own, and there are a number of excellent programs available to help you out with those tasks.

2. This is critical: are you making backups to an external device? (f (hopefully) you are, what software are you using for that?

3. You will need to insure that any third party (ie, non-Apple) software you are using is compatible with Mojave (now at V10.14.2). This site can help you with that:
