Menu Bar

For some reason the menu bar on my mac has increased in size, I must have pressed something and don't know what. How can I make it smaller again. I have macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6

I can’t guarantee that this will be the same in High Sierra…

Open System Preferences, select Accessibility and click on Display on the side bar. Is there an entry for “Menu bar size:”? The drop-down menu should offer Default and Large.
