SOLVED Mail not working

Hi guys, sorry but I have another problem. Just recently deleted a bunch of cookies and am finding that apple mail will not deliver mail to known address, claims addresses don't exist. ie; ///The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or unnecessary spaces. Learn more at https://support.google.com/mail/?p=NoSuchUser kc7sor4058436qvb.44 - gsmtp/// I see Google is sending this but this is from my apple mail.
Person is a recipient I have emailed for 25 years at this address, my brother. I know his address is correct. I am using my MacBook Pro with Mojave 10.14.6. Thank you.

I added a new email address to my MacAir and it won't work at all. My email won't work at all on my iPad.

It takes several minutes for my Macbook to receive mail, but if I 'command+q' the program, then re-open it, it seems to force it to accept messages.

On our Mac OS Mojave 10.14 etc the Mail app works for me but not for my husband. We’ve partitioned the drive. Sadly I can’t renember what I did to restore it in my drive but it was by dint of trying out all sorts of suggestion from various forums. Try the guys from Tech Radar?
