Mail not working, how to set up? TELUS

Hi,

Im new to this.. My email is not working. I read somewhere else to delete the mac.apple.plist folder so I did that.. now I am trying to set back up my email but it isnt working.. seems not to be connecting. I have a TELUS email account.. can someone help please!!!!
