Urgent help needed! I have just bought a new MacBook Pro to replace my older one (2014) and am finding problems connecting up to my even older Apple LED Cinema Display - the minidisplay adapter for video used to fit into the 2014 Thunderbolt 2 port, so I went to the local Apple Store where they recommended I try a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter - no picture on the display.
As a publisher I work on two screens routinely, so this is an urgent problem - has anyone managed to find a workaround for this?
I am very loth to simply get rid of the LED Display, which in all other respects works fine - should I be keeping my old MacBook Pro just to work the monitor? Any other solutions?
