MAC OS X 10.4.10 free up ram

This could be a very stupid question. I am trying to load the Aperture program and it says I need 1 gb of RAM. How do I free up RAM on my computer??

That is a hardward upgrade.
It is how much you have when you got the computer

If your not sure -->click the apple in the top left coner and then about this mac

in memory --> will display the amount you have. it will most likely be 512mb.

if it is you might have to buy more or go to a apple store or reseller and have them put some in.

It says I have 768 MB there isn't any way to delete a program to free up space? You have to buy more?

No there is no way to free any up it is a set number. I am upgrading my ram from 1 gb to 2gb.

If you want to try to install it your self you can just buy some if not you will have to go to an apple reseller or a apple store.
