Mac Mini upgrade causing problems

Greetings,

So I wanted to put more Ram in my mac mini, core duo - 1.66 Ghz. I maxed out to 2 gigs and I thought all was well, everything works except the airport. It scans and recognizes my airport base station, as well as my neighbors, but when I try to connect it 'times out' everytime. At the same time I upgraded the ram I also upgraded to 10.5, from 10.4. I'm using WPA, but I tried it with no encryption and it still didn't work.

If I knocked something around in there would the airport work at all?
If it was completely non-functional I would understand and take it back apart, but this is confusing me.

Thanks for the assist.

First thing I'd do is remove the new RAM and see how things work without it. Sometimes bad RAM can cause a lot of problems.

Thanks, I got it working.

When I opened it to check the ram, I found that the airport antenna wasn't connected. It must have been touching to get a signal but not good enough to get a connection.
