Mac mini hooked up to Hp screen

Sometimes my screen goes completely purple you have to do a manual shutdown to get rid of that purple haze.

Wonder what in the world makes the picture screen turn purple and blows your eyeballs out ?

Normally, that has to do with a loose or failing video adapter, cable, or port.

think I'll buy a new usb hub. I got the mouse, keyboard plugged into a hub

screen goes purple, mouse freezes up and the **** thing is constantly hunting for a bluetooth keyboard where there isn't one and I have
to do a manual shut down and restart to clear all that out.
