So I am new to the forum and really need help with my mac. I have a Macbook, Mac os X version 10.5.8., runing leapard. My problem started 2 weeks ago (the computer is 4yrs old). So, I'll turn on my computer and everything is fine until I try to do something. Then the computer fans turn on and I'll get the processing circle where it will sit forever until I turn it off. This has happened 9/10 that I've turn on my computer. I don't know if I've blown a fan and my computer is overheating, if it is my hd, or my ram. I ran the Techtool deluxe program that came with my extended protection plan (which has recently expired) to check my hardware, and it said everything was fine. Please help.
