Hi All

I've just bought a Macbook Pro (laptop) within the last 2 weeks and everything is fantastic apart from one thing - I can't get it to enable my Hotmail account with the mail client already installed. When I originally set it up it worked fine, but I clicked on something accidentally and now it won't enable. I've tried to add the account again, but as I've already got it set up ( albeit not working ) it won't allow me to add it again. My concern if I delete it is that it will delete everything that's associated with it ( my photo's in iCloud etc. ). I've been through all the settings and entered them again using the apple site where you can enter your email and it gives you the incoming and outgoing settings, but it still won't enable. I've got 2 other email addresses ( Sky and Gmail ) which work fine but the Hotmail one won't so I'm having to check my Hotmail emails via Safari through the website which isn't ideal. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful as apart from this one hiccup the Macbook is beautiful to use and I wish I'd converted along time ago.

Hope someone can help......thank you in advance

We need to know the following information:

1. What exact Macbook Pro model? (did you buy a brand new one?)

2. What exact Mac IS are you using?

I don't use iCloud, but I have 3 EMail accounts: Hotmail and GMail through the web (99% of the time accessed through Google Chrome), and my Comcast EMail account (100% o the time accessed through Outlook). Is there any way you can copy the stuff that is contained in iCloud onto your machine?
