How can I reset forgotten password for iPad mini 3 ? Is there anyway around security set up...I will reset whole unit if I have to...... Thank You.... Kevin R.

-Which version of iOS?
-Is it the 4 or 6-digit passcode?
-Did you setup iCloud and Find my iPad?

6 figure passcode and no iCloud or find my iPad..... its a mini 3 bought when they first came out.....I don't remember what version of iOS may be 7

I believe the 6-digit passcode was instituted in iOS 9. There isn't any way around it if you have forgotten it.

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled
