On my Finder window I had a folder called Miscellaneous. When I opened the iMac few weeks ago, I wanted to look at something and discovered that the folder had disappeared! I looked everywhere I thought about in the system but could not find it anywhere. Any idea about what I should do short of calling Apple Support? Thank you.

-What is in the Miscellaneous folder if you click/open it?
-Where is the Miscellaneous folder exactly - in the pane on the left side of the Finder window?
-If so, you should be able to right-click it and choose Remove from Sidebar to remove it.
