KeySpazz safe?

I recently downloaded the application KeySpazz (http://www.keindesign.de/stefan/Web/Sites/iWeb/Site/keySpazz.html) and I don't know if it is safe for my keyboard backlight or not. It is really cool, and I would love to hear that it is safe, but I love my Mac too much to hurt it for the sake of cool. Anyone who knows about this, please help. Thanks!

I can't see why it would cause any harm, after all it is only a program controlling the back light.

However, having said that, I have no experience of the program so I am not able to say for definite whether it causes any issues with the back light, sorry.
