iTunes problem: Same exact date and time for over sixty songs that played.

A few days ago I had my music playing on iTunes. I scrolled down the list and discovered that twice during the hours a list of songs had the exact same date and time which they played. The longest list was over sixty songs. My software package on my MacBook Pro is Maverick OSX 10.9.5 and I have just updated iTunes to latest version 12.2.1. Would anyone else have this same problem or an explanation for this strange issue?
