iStat Ghost Menus

I have a 2 yr old 1.8ghz 4gb MacBook Air running 10.8.5 on which I had iStat Pro. I decided I didn’t want to use all the things it offered, so I uninstalled it. It left 6 blank spaces across the top of my Menu bar and, when I mouse-over or click on any one of them, three menu items pop down. Each menu reads Buy, Register or Uninstall and none of them actually do anything. Except take up space, which could be much better used.

Any ideas to get rid of them?

Several. I have also used the CleanMyMac uninstaller.

Have you tried command-clicking them and dragging them out of the menu bar.

Check and see if they return after a restart???
