Issuse with Powerbook G4

Alright so I've had a used Powerbook G4 for a couple of days now and it was running fine until the Powerbook just shoutdown by itself. It wasn't like the battery was running low because every time that its shutoff by itself it was plugged into the wall charger. The sad part is that the Powerbook won't turn back on. Also the light that comes on where you go to open up the Powerbook when its closed also keeps glowing dispite the fact that the Powerbook is off.
So I guess my question is whats up with my Powerbook? I mean why is it shutting itself down at random times.

Powerbook G4
1 GB ram
100 GB hard Drive
OS 10.5.2
