I'm new to this forum and have browsed around and it looks quite helpful...Heres my question: when I take a photo with my iPhone, is that image visible any other place other than my iPhone? I have a MAC desktop and MAC iPad mini and I am just learning about device connectivity. For privacy reasons, I just want to verify that iPhone pictures don't automatically go somewhere else for storage or backup or anything else like that. My instinct tells me that the answer is somewhere in "settings" Thanks

Hello and welcome.

If you take a photo with your iPhone, and you do not have any of the options in Settings > iCloud > Photos enabled - i.e. iCloud Photo Library, My Photo Stream, iCloud Photo Sharing, then the photos will only be contained on the iPhone.

-Which model iPhone?
-Which version of iOS?
-Do you have an iCloud account and is it signed in?
