Ineed help with CD,DVD-ROM

Dear Members,
Ive had this Ibook G4 for 2 years and its running great.

Now im having this problem , everytime insert any cd into the CD-ROM , IT SPITS OUT AFTER 6 seconds,

ANY SOLUTION?
Iappreciate your help

can you open Applications-->Utilities-->Console

...and have a look in the system log.

Does it give any clues ?
