I am having trouble setting the preferences for my PDF software.
I want to Open PDF's with Adobe Reader and not Preview.

I cannot find this setting option in Firefox or System Preferences.
I have OS X Leopard and Adobe Reader 8

Also, if anyone knows how (in Firefox or System Preferences) to set the download settings to only windows media player and NOT QuickTime that would be appreciated too.

Thanks

Find a PDF document in your Mac. Then do a command + I in order to get the information window open. Towards the bottom of that window, you'll see "Open with" and the default application selected. Just go to that pull-down menu and change the application from Preview to Adobe Reader. Then click the "Change All" button. You've then set the default application to Adobe Reader now for PDFs.

I can't open pdf files. It says to open adobe reader, agree to the licensure, quit it and launch again.

All I have is Adobe Installer - even though I've installed it.!
