Ok, so when you get windows that pop up and give you choices; are you sure you want to do this, save blabla etc - windows we get all the time.
How do you choose the not highlighted option -- with a key command? ie: picture 1.png = cancel; picture 5.png = don't save or cancel
Tab doesn’t work, which seems to make sense to me -- how to do this other than with the mouse?
(I don't have the empty trash querry usually, but I knew I could use it as an example really quickly)

Thanks!

Hi there,

you can also use command + . to cancel.

If however you want to scroll through the various buttons, then go to

System Preferences-->Keyboard and Mouse-->Keyboard Shortcuts

In the main window select Keyboard Navigation--> Turn full keyboard access on or off...and turn it on.

And then click the "Full Keyboard Access" --> "All Controls" radio button.

Now you can use the Tab key to switch between buttons...the active button will have a 'blue halo'. To 'press' the halo'd button press the space bar...

regards

Ric
