Help!

somehow
my office mac is not working
no word, excel, entourage, or powerpoint, messenger, etc.
i click on the application and it bounces once and disappears
it isn't a temporaory or trial application
and i have one product key left to use
but even when i put the disc in to install
the icon for that also bounces once and disappears
i really need microsoft work as well as powerpoint
and soon
what should i do?

The bouncing icon before an application fully launches can mean that your preferences for that application can be damaged. Run Preferential Treatment to see if you have any corrupted preferences. Also check Apple's site for this article:

If you find that your preferences are damaged, you can throw the plist file for the particular application. Once you relaunch it, the application will re-create its plist file. All plist files are in your user Library > Preferences. For your particular case, the file names will be com.microsoft."application name".plist.
