Help with keyboard settings

Basically... I've set my control key on my keyboard to minimise all windows and show me the desktop... and I can't remember how I did it! I've googled extensively but can't find it and it's driving me bonkers. Please help me undo this as it's a total pain and there are other simple options for accessing the desktop quickly.

Have you tried: System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Restore Defaults ?
