Help!!!! Stuttering Videos

For the last week every time I play an online video on my Mac it stutters, the audio is fine but not the video.
I have tried updating adobe flash player and my Mac (Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard).

Pleas help me this is getting really annoying!!!! :mad:
