Hello and welcome.

-Is there a specific reason your are using a PC formatting scheme - Master Boot Record with MS-DOS FAT file system?
-Do you have all the files you need off of the WD?
-Are you going to use this HD with the Mac only?
-Have you tried the partition option instead of erase?

I'd say the data is now unrecoverable. You need to be able to mount the drive to get at the data.

My Macbook can't read my external hard drive, i was using mac fuse. however the trial period has expired so I decided to format the whole external drive instead of buying macfuse.

No, I didn't backup I need the files =(

-Are you going to use this HD with the Mac only?
No i will use it with both Mac and microsoft but I will do anything to get my files even if I won't be able to use it on Microsoft.

-Have you tried the partition option instead of erase?
No i didn't, I was going to erase and re-format the whole drive.

I have pulled out the drive after 3 or 4 seconds of the erasing command, I think most of the files still there, but I don't know how to get them back as no computer can read the drive !!
