So I only recently found out that you can have multiple desktops running at once (Dumb of me probably) and I was wondering if there is any way that with the Thunderbolt-VGA adapter that I have, could I set it up so that desktop '2' is shown on the TV permanently and the computer screen can switch between both? To say have a movie running on desktop 2 but just be able to 4 finger swipe to switch to having it on my laptop screen as well... Running OS 10.7.4 with a late 2011 MBP. And I know how to set it up so that it is like a dual screen situation where if I move the mouse over the side of the screen it moves over to the TV or have both screens show the same thing, but thats not really what I am looking for.
