help applications quiting.

pls help.
some of my applications wont open.
some will open and then quit
if i click on a toolbar it just starts Finder.
i cant empty any trash.
it was working great yesterday
is there a system restore?

Boot from your Software & Restore Disc that came with your Mac and press the 'C' key when you hear the startup chime.

Navigate to the Utilities folder and launch Disc Utilities. Verify/Repair Permissions and Disc.

See if this has any positive effect on your situation.

i took it to a genius bar and they said the same.... so you must be a genius! all repaired now
