After an update of my Mac to Sierra my documents have a grayed out copy. I can delete each copy to trash manually but is there a way to do all at once.
My duplicate file finder does not see them.

Hello,

Not sure why it would make a copy of your documents like that?

Maybe try searching for the word copy? You could then select all at once, making sure that you do not select copies that you do want to keep.

OK

-If you do a Get Info on one of them, where does it say they are located?
-Do you have hidden files visible?

On info all the copies are shown as modified on the same date which was when Sierra was loaded.
When I click on Preview in info a message comes up "copy is being used by macOS"

Hmmm....

Not an issue I have ever seen. I will look into a bit further and get back to you.
