Transferring Documents From W10 PC to iMac ?

Hello,

Any "simple" was of transferring, e.g., text documents/files from a W10 pc to my iMac ?

As both pc's are Ethernet connected to my Router, I keep thinking that there must be an easy way to do it via the Router perhaps ?

Dislike Parallels.

Any other practical technique ?

VNC, SSH, FTP or copy over to external storage device i.e thumb drive or external HDD and then move to the other machine.

Hi,

As always, thanks for help.

I have VNC on my Mac.
Great program. I mirror my W10 pc to it, and I don't have to twist my head anymore to "use" the W10 pc.

But, I have not found a way to transfer anything actually showing on the Mac now with VNC to the actual Mac screen and Mac itself..
Just a mirroring function.

Is there a way to go from what VNC is showing, to move any item showing on it, truly to the Mac ?

if so, how please.

I have just been playing with my win 10 box.

Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > View Network Computers and Devices, click on your device and the Files and Directories should be accessible.
