Late 2012 Mac mini, High Sierra, Firefox 110.0 (64-bit)

All of a sudden, with no warning, something has gone haywire ... I am constantly required to log in to sites that normally recognize me and I visit uneventfully: Gmail, Washington Post, NY Times. This happens for no apparent reason. I leave a site for a while and when I return I have to log back in. Crazy making.

Thanks. After a period of this, it seems to have stopped on its own. Although I was running from a boot disk that was a clone, something about the computer being different (a mini two years newer) seemed to trigger this, even though all software was exactly the same. Many of these logins were via Google, and I suspected it of involvement, but the question is now moot. It was pretty maddening for a while.

Hi,

Glad it seems to have resolved itself. Let us know if you have any additional trouble.
