extra internal hard drive // itunes library

Hey guys,

I do hope this is the right area to post this, if not then please move.

Need a little help, i have recently bought a new internal hard drive for my (quite old) powermac g4 AGP graphics

It currently only has 20 gb hard drive so i am going to install this new 80gb to bump it up to 100gb. Mainly so that i can hold more music as that is all i really use this computer for these days (and web browsing)

Anyway, I have looked up how to install it and i don't think i should have any problems - just wanted to know what happens to my itunes library?

Will i have to move it over to the larger HD, and if so how?

Or will they both combine and when one is full the more music i add just gets added to the other one?

Hi Pooley, If you're importing your music to the iTunes folder in your music folder you can copy it to the same destination on your other hard drive.
